Baiyangdian Lake (Xidian Lake), the largest lake in China, is located in the border area between Baoding City and Cangzhou City (38 43 ~39 02', 115 38 ~116 07').

Baiyangdian Lake area is about 366 square kilometers. It is formed on the fan margin depression at the intersection of Yongding River and Hutuo River alluvial fan. There are more than 140 lakes of different sizes, which are connected by more than 3700 small ditches. Its average water storage is about 1.32 billion cubic meters. It has the title of "Pearl of North China".

Baiyangdian Lake has four distinct seasons, vast waters, beautiful scenery, pleasant climate and beautiful scenery. It is a summer resort in Hebei Province. People here can catch fish and shrimp, dig lotus root, and hunt all kinds of waterfowl. They are busy all year round. Therefore, it is known as the treasure trough of "Thriving business, autumn in all seasons".
