The Museum of Shenyang's "September 18th" History is located at 46 Wanghua South Street, Dadong District, Shenyang. It is located on the southeast side of Liutiaohu section of Nanman Railway, where the September 18th Incident shocked China and foreign countries. Founded in 1991, it covers an area of 35,000 square meters, building area of 12,600 square meters, exhibition area of 9180 square meters. It is the only museum at home and abroad that fully reflects the history of the September 18th Incident.
The Museum of History on September 18th
Over the years, the Museum of Shenyang's "September 18th" History has focused on collecting, displaying, researching and publicizing cultural relics and historical materials around the history of September 18th. The basic exhibition of "September 18th History Show" reflects the humiliating history of Japanese imperialism in planning, launching the September Eighteenth Incident and ruthlessly colonizing Northeast China through a large number of cultural relics, historical photographs and various modern display means. It vividly reproduces the indomitable and bloody struggle of the Northeast people and the people of the whole country under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, and finally takes it. A historical picture of the great victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan. The monument to the September 18th Incident in the Museum of History of September 18th is a hollow body made of masonry and cement. From the plane, the monument is a huge map of northeast China. In front of the monument is a geometric square surrounded by irregular green lawns. The whole building is eighteen meters high, thirty meters wide, eleven meters thick, and made of concrete. The granite veneer is a three-dimensional calendar, symmetrical on both sides, covered with bullet marks and skeletons. The left side of the calendar is engraved with "September 18, 1931" and the right side records the occurrence of the incident.
