Jiuzhaigou, located in Jiuzhaigou County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, is located in the transition zone from Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, West Sichuan Plateau and mountainous areas to Sichuan Basin.
