Taipei Freedom Square

Taipei Freedom Square, formerly known as Zhongzheng Square, is located in Zhongzheng District of Taipei City, with a total area of 250,000 square meters. It is a famous tourist attraction in Taiwan.

Freedom Square is centered on the owner of the Memorial Hall of the Central Plaza, which is surrounded by Zhongzheng Park, Freedom Square Archway, National Theatre, National Concert Hall and so on. Freedom Square is also Taiwan's largest public activity square, literary and artistic performance center. Today, Freedom Square has become a place for local people's leisure activities. It often holds various large-scale concerts, especially the annual Lantern Festival "Taipei Lantern Festival".

The symbolic building of Freedom Square is a white marble archway, 30 meters high and 80 meters wide. In the archway, there are four big black characters "Freedom Square", which were changed after 2007. Before that, there are four words "DaZhongZhiZheng"(chinses pinyin). When night falls, the tall archway of Freedom Square is magnificent and magnificent under the light.
