Where there is life, there is hope.( Chinese pinyin:liú dé qīng shān zài,bù pà méi chái shāo), which means: as long as there is life, there is hope and the future, do not give up easily.

Where there is life (liú dé qīng shān zài,bù pà méi chái shāo), there is hope. It comes from Ling Mengchu, a writer of the Ming Dynasty. Qingshan is literally translated into English as lush mountain, but here Qingshan refers to a person's name.

Allusion

In ancient times, there were two brothers. Their elder brother's name was Qingshan, and their younger brother's name was Hongshan. Their family lived on the mountain forest and burned charcoal for generations. After his father died, he left his family's mountains and forests to the two brothers and made a clear division. For his brother, he divided the east slope with small trees and the west slope with good growth. But my brother never complained. After careful exploration of east slope, he began to plan what to do later. Qingshan has cut down some trees, bought new saplings to plant, raised sheep on the mountain, and planted crops in places suitable for farming. In the first two years, it made little money, and there was almost no money left in a year. But after a few years, the trees on the slope have grown up, and there are more and more sheep. The harvest of the crops is better. Qingshan has saved a sum of money and found a matchmaker to help him and married. But the situation of his younger brother's side is completely opposite to his here. At first, Hongshan made a lot of money, but later, when the trees were cut down, he had no income, and could only eat the old capital, and his life became more and more difficult. Hongshan is very strange to see that brother's side is beautiful and prosperous, so he asked him why. Brother told him seriously, "If you rely on development and don't manage it, you'll end up. If you develop and manage the forest first, and then rely on it, you can continue to develop!" Later, people praised Qingshan and said, " liú dé qīng shān zài,bù pà méi chái shāo."
